cool finds tide pooling at low tide north shore ma! all photos taken on my iphone
Our take
Exploring the tide pools along the North Shore during low tide was an extraordinary experience! Armed with my iPhone, I captured a variety of fascinating marine life that I rarely encounter. The combination of midday low tide and the pleasant seasonal transition created perfect conditions for discovery. Highlights included a rock gunnel, star tunicates, a graceful egret, and an array of moon jellyfish, which I had never seen so close to shore before. Each moment spent among the rocky intertidal zone was truly unforgettable.
 | this was so cool! i don’t usually see most of these guys, i think it’s a combination of low tide being mid day, the changing of seasons where it’s not too hot not too cold, and the length of time i was out there. i’ve never seen jellyfish in this area before, especially not so near shore! super cool day for me:) [link] [comments] |
