Low-rider hen

| We are curious about this hen of ours. She’s about a year old, maybe a little less. She’s lays blue green eggs, but they’re a normal size. However her legs are so short. Her body is the same size as our other hens (except our Colombian Wyandottes that are just larger bodied), but her legs are so much shorter than all the others. Could she be a dwarf? Or just a breed that is shorter statured? She waddles more like a duck because her legs are so little. She’s adorable and healthy, we’re just curious and still fairly new to this! [link] [comments] |
