Seeing gorgeous/High Quality clothes only for it to be polyester is so frustrating

I'm determined to thrift my clothes. I just prefer it. But god three days straight of searching has me frustrated. I'm incredibly picky about what I wear style wise already. If I'm not going to wear it, I won't buy it.

And I know at one point my style of clothing leaned heavily towards cotton and linen. Now every time I pick up an item that looks earthy girl niche, it's a shameless whopping 95-100% polyester. Be it an $8 or $100+ dress. And I'm honestly kind of disgusted?

I got so used to polyester stuff not being well made and the well made stuff being at least mostly natural materials.

But now we've got high quality looking stuff and brands clearly taking from the naturalist/earthy/sustainable aesthetic and making the items catfish polyester?? More than half of them don't even LOOK or feel polyester. I'd be impressed if I wasn't offended.

It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth because you can tell real design went into these- they're not supposed to look like fast fashion and are starting to mimic natural fabrics really well. I feel like that's deliberate and gross.
