[P]Offering 5 free pilot fine-tunes for local/open models in exchange for feedback

Hey I'm 0xcircuitbreaker (CircuitBreaker88), and I'm building a small fine-tuning service around local/open models. I'm looking for 5 pilot projects to take on for free. im running locally on a 5090 + 4090, 128GB DDR5, and a 9950X3D, so I can do private/local training runs and iterate quickly without pushing work to cloud GPUs

- I'll take on the first 5 projects for free

- In return, I want honest feedback and, if the result is useful, a short testimonial

What I do:

- data review / cleanup

- conversation or instruction dataset formatting

- train/eval split creation

- LoRA / QLoRA fine-tuning on open models

- preference tuning when the use case supports it

- behavior retuning when the data supports it

- before/after eval and handoff notes

This is aimed at people who want a model that is better at a narrow job than the base model:

- customer support or internal assistant

- docs / SOP / knowledge-heavy assistant

- coding or framework-specific helper

- writing style / brand voice adaptation

- structured extraction / classification tasks

- abliteration

I dont have "fine-tuning magic" claims. If your data is weak, or the task is better solved with prompting, RAG, or something simpler, I'll say that directly and provide help so that you have the right solution. For context, the pipeline I've been building is not just one training script or a single LoRA pass. One of the code-focused tracks uses staged post-training:

- 782,880 curated SFT train rows

- 11,895 SFT eval rows

- 35,038 SimPO train preference pairs

- 715 SimPO eval pairs

- 795 GRPO coding problems with executable tests

I've also been building domain-specific dataset pipelines for medical, legal, creative writing, and software/framework assistants using open datasets plus task-specific normalization.

If you want to be one of the 5 pilot projects, DM me with:

- your use case

- what data you have

- what base model you want to stay close to, if any
