What is he doing?

I dont really expect an answer because ive kinda just accepted that Arnie is just little bit weird.

I've had hens before, years ago now, and they would squat down in the submissive squat but this feels different. He also seems too young to be doing that anyway? I dont know. Maybe ive just forgotten what the squat looks like.

The other thing is he does it when im a few metres away from him, it feels more like hes trying to tell me to come over. Obviously here he is on my chair and doesnt move, but generally when I approach he gets back up and starts walking which is why I feel like hes beckoning me over, but I have never seen a chicken do this before why is he so weird
