Data Entry and Cleanup of Current File
I have a history file that I have kept for about 8 years. I have now lost about 8 months of data and if I am going to re-add all of it, I would like to streamline my entry.
My current layout is very utilitarian.
Equipment is separated by sheets, then broken down from there.
For the example in the picture, I have the main equipment for the sheet, the "child" on the left by line, the date the piece was repaired, and the comment was the text that was entered in the turn report.
I have built a userform to help input information, but it is clunky at best.
It is still very manual for me to enter information. The way the I receive the data is this:
Long post short, any suggestions? I have thought about fiverr, etsy. I dont mind spending some of my own money to make my job easier. The company I work for does not have an interest in saving this data. Each time it has been brought up, they tell me to use Tabware CMMS, which is built like windows 95 and the people that built it dont call it by the name that we use in the field.
